My roommate and I woke up at four o’clock because we were so excited! We all warmed up, fought for a bleacher, cheered, and got ready to race! One teammate, Jessica Botzum, had an awesome 50 breast and was seeded first for finals! Our relay qualified in eigth for tonight! Our team is also engaged in a Fruit Loop war. Silly, I know! Everyone was pretty satisfied after prelims, although I wish my personal performances had been better. Tonight at finals Jessica swam her exact time from prelims and our relay finished seventh. The whole team is excited about the rest of the week. For now it’s off to the hotel for dinner and some rest in our super comfy beds!
