Dear Journal,

Once again it was an exciting day at the pool. The majority of our swimmers performed really well. Our girls’ 400 free relay placed 8^th in the morning session. Everyone on our team was ecstatic, because all of the girls have been working so hard and they deserve every bit of their success. We will all have our fingers crossed tonight, in hopes of them moving up a couple of places. In addition to the relay, a soon to be senior named Jason placed either 14^th or 15^th in the 100 butterfly this morning! He is without a doubt an amazing swimmer, so we are all wishing him the very best tonight at finals. Today, I also swam the 100 butterfly. I clocked a 1:09, which was a second off my best time from last year. I was very happy, but even more excited for the 50 fly and the 100 freestyle tomorrow. I have to run, because finals are about to start. I miss all of you at home very much!
