Well, today was a tale of two teams. Our woman’s team wishes to soon forget today; on the other hand our men’s team feels like the best swims are yet to come. The woman’s team was a little off to start the meet and then let the bad swims get into their heads, subsequently causing the rest to snowball. This is always hard to see no matter who it is, but it is especially hard when they are your teammates, whom you train with all year long. On the flip side, our men’s team is swimming well. I personally had a best time today in the 200 free. Josh Loewer and Ben Pulskamp went best times in the 100 Fly. Furthermore, this was topped off by a wonderful swim in the 4 x 100 freestyle relay (Me, Daniel Clemmons, Ben, and Josh). Josh had the swim of the day on the end of the relay, splitting 48.7, which is much faster than he has been in the past. Way to go Loewer. This is the fun side of the sport, when you get to see those who have worked so hard in the pool finally go fast.

Today is such a beautiful day outside, as opposed to yesterday, where it rained on us. I just thought I would work that in for those reading back home. It is almost 90 here today and sunny. Man I hope my tan becomes complete before I get back home.

Well I want to congratulate my lane partner, Meagan Eickman, on her fabulous ninth place finish last night in the 100 back. You are the best. Also, to Anna Miller on her good swim in the 50.

This entry was short today, but since we didn’t have anyone qualify for finals tonight, I had to do it after the prelims session. UH OH!! Hopefully there will be more stuff to talk about tomorrow. Until then, wish us luck, Ha Ha.
