Today was the last day of swimming. Our team did well as it has all week and our coach was very proud. To show him appreciation for the great season, we threw him in the warm up pool. We did not have anyone make it back tonight, however most of the team came back to support teams from Massachusetts.

After prelims, we finally got a chance to enjoy the sunshine of Florida on the beach, despite the shark warning. Many of us got burnt, but at least we have something to show for the week in Ft. Lauderdale when we get back to chilly Massachusetts.

The season has come to an end and it was just as successful as last. For five of us, this was our last chance to shine and from our experiences here at Y Nationals, both positive and negative, we will learn valuable life lessons. It has been a great week and the future looks bright for our seniors as they head off to college next August, and to the underclassmen/women, who will be back here next April to do it all over again.
