Today was the hottest day at the meet and our coach got fried. There were more impressive swims earlier today and tonight by our teammates and the other swimmers participating in the meet. John placed twelfth in the 400-yard I.M. in prelims.

This was my last individual race of the meet and my last Winter Nationals. After eight summer and winter nationals, it was great to end on a high note, both placing twelfth and taking a second of my time from the morning. Standing on the awards podium was thrilling, though with out our team bunny Flippity, but with my mom taking it in on camcorder.
