7/29/05 - Congratulations Wilton (Connecticut) YMCA on your 2005 YMCA National Long Course Combined Championship!

7/29/05 - Boyertown, PA's Christy Emily dropped almost 3.5 seconds from prelims to finals in the Women's 200 Butterfly. Great swimming right? But to make it even sweeter, that swim made her the new National record holder with a final time of 2:15.81.

7/28/05 - In the Men's 200 Backstroke, Pottstown PA's Patrick Schirk creamed the old record of 2:03.58 by almost 2 seconds! He swam a 2:01.69 at finals tonight.

7/28/05 - Wow! Pat Reams must have liked the applause Felicia was getting. The swimmer from South Shore, Massachusetts swam a 55.43 in the Men's 100 Butterfly to set a new record in that event. And of course, the crowd went wild again!

7/28/05 - This evening started out with a different kind of thunder. The place rocked with everyone chearing Felicia Lee, only 13 years old from Montclair, New Jersey on to a new record in the Women's 100 Butterfly. She was an incredible 1:02.48!

7/28/05 - New Award Procedures for Finals
  • Warm-Ups will be from 4:00 PM until 5:25 PM
  • Devotions, National Anthem, Women's 200 Medley Relay Awards will begin promptly at 5:30 PM
  • All winners are to report to chairs adjacent to the award stand
  • Awards will be presented IMMEDIATELY at the conclusion of the next event.
  • Award attire remains in effect.
7/27/05 - Update! The following changes will be made to the remainder of the meet:
  • The Women's 100 Butterfly Championship Finals Heat and the Men's 100 Butterfly Consolation and Championship Finals Heats will be contested as the first event at 6 PM on Thursday evening.
  • The 200 Breaststroke Finals will be contested on Thursday evening following the 50M Butterfly Finals.
  • The 200 Freestyle Finals will be contested on Friday evening following the 100M Breaststroke Finals.
  • The 400 Freestyle Relay Finals will be contested as the final events on Thursday evening.
  • The 800 Freestyle Relays will be contested as Timed Finals at the end of Prelims on Thursday morning with the fastest to slowest alternating women's and men's heats.



7/27/05 - Due to thunderstorms, the meet is temporarily suspended. The 800 Freestyle was the only event contested this evening. More information to follow later.

7/26/05 - In the second event of the day, the Men's 100 Backstroke, Patrick Schirk from Pottstown, Pennsylvania broke the old meet record of 57.42 by swimming a time of 57.29. But he wasn't done. In the evening Patrick came back to win the event and established a new record of 56.63. Congratulations Patrick!

7/26/05 - The first day of competition! Be sure to check out our Real-Time Results, Live Webcam and Blogs. Of course we'll have Photos and full results throughout the meet.
