YMCA OUTSTANDING SCHOLAR ATHLETE AWARD, PRESENTED BY NIKE SWIM
(Click link) (Revised) As part of the YMCA's commitment to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) and Nike SWIM are offering the YMCA Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award, Presented by Nike SWIM for one male and one female graduating senior who has been a YMCA swimmer for five years, competed in the National YMCA Short Course Swimming & Diving Championships for three years, maintained a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 or equivalent scale during senior year in high school, and has plans to continue education at a university or junior college. Winners will be awarded $1,000 each to be issued directly to the athlete's institute for higher learning. ....More
