TIME TRIAL UPDATE

YMCA Long Course National Championship
Time Trial Update

The Meet Committee  is making an effort to avoid the problems that we experienced with Time Trials in last year's Long Course meet  by closely monitoring time trial entries as they are received  online.  

We are now at the point where our entries for the time trial events offered on Wednesday and Friday have filled the time available to conduct time trials on those afternoons.

As a result, we will no longer accept entries for these events on Wednesday:

  • #341/342 100 Backstroke
  • #343/344 200 Freestyle
  • #345/346 100 Butterfly
  • #347/348 50 Freestyle. 

There are alternate days available for 6 of these Wednesday events:

  • 100 Butterfly is on Tuesday as event #243/244
  • 100 Backstroke is on Thursday as event #447/448
  •   50 Freestyle is on Thursday as event #441/442.

As a result, we will no longer accept entries for these events on Friday:

  • #541/542 200 Butterfly
  • #543/544 100 Freestyle
  • #545/546 200 Individual Medley
  • #547/548 100 Breaststroke

There are alternate days available for 6 of these Friday events:

  • 100 Freestyle is on Tuesday as event #247/248
  • 200 Individual Medley is on Tuesday as event #249/250
  • 100 Breaststroke is on Thursday as event #443/444.

Unfortunately, there is no other offering of the 200 freestyle or 200 Butterfly.
