YMCA of the USA Competitive Swimming and Diving Fo: Recertification

   Hi-I am a Level 2 Official. My certification expires at the end of this month. What do I have to do to re-certify? There are no classes scheduled at this point in my state (CT) or do i need to take the test again?

	You have to take a clinic and pass a test every three years to keep your certification in effect. I would suggest that you talk with your team's head coach and ask him/her to talk with the Group Rep, who can direct them to trainers in your area. I suspect that the trainers just haven't gotten around to setting up classes as yet. Ed Miller, National Officials' Committee
