Sample Insurance certificate. Each team that participates in the meet must have a current and correct Certificate of Liability Insurance on file with the YMCA of the USA. Emails of certificates will be accepted FROM THE INSURANCE BROKER ONLY. Emails may be sent to Robin Lee at robin.lee@ymca.net. YMCA OUTSTANDING SCHOLAR ATHLETE AWARD, PRESENTED BY NIKE SWIM (Click link)
(Revised) As part of the YMCA's commitment to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) and Nike SWIM are offering the YMCA Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award, Presented by Nike SWIM for one male and one female graduating senior who has been a YMCA swimmer for five years, competed in the National YMCA Short Course Swimming & Diving Championships for three years, maintained a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 or equivalent scale during senior year in high school, and has plans to continue education at a university or junior college. Winners will be awarded $1,000 each to be issued directly to the athlete's institute for higher learning. ....More

Just a quick note to let you know that the 2012 YMCA Diving Championship meet is now up for you to enter. You can find it on divemeets.com.

A couple instructions...

For both coaches and athletes, if you have not updated your profile to include YMCA in your divemeets account, you will not be able to register until this is done.

You, as a coach must register as well, the link has been provided with the approval of USA Diving. This coach registration will only be allowed as long as you are current with your USA Diving safety certification.
The hotel link should be updated shortly so keep checking the ymcaswimminganddiving.org site. We are looking at 3 hotels, Courtyard Marriott, Bahia Mar, and the Embassy Suites.
