ASSISTANCE REQUESTED AND CLARIFICATIONS
We are excited to bring Short Course Nationals to this world class facility in Greensboro. Despite somewhat limited deck space, our goal is to maintain the level of enthusiam that sets YMCA Nationals apart from any other meet. We would ask your help in achieving our goal. Teams should use the Athlete Village as their base. Athletes may and should move from the Athletes Village to the pool deck to cheer for and watch their teammates and friends, and then return to the Athlete Village. For Prelims, there will be no bleacher seating available for athletes. During Finals, a limited number of on-deck bleachers seats will be available on a first come basis. Teams may bring coolers with Gatorade and water to the Athlete Village. Power bars and other protein supplements are encouraged and can be brought in by the athletes. However, outside food is not permitted on deck or in the Athlete Village. There has been some questions regarding the 800 free relay. As stated in the Meet Handbook, the 800 free relay will be a prelim/finals event. Good luck to all teams and swimmers.
